Air Conditioning & Heat
An air conditioning system does not use refrigerant up. If yours is low, it leaked, and putting more in without finding the leak means paying for the same repair twice. We find it first.

You might need this if
- Air blows cool at highway speed but warm at a stoplight
- It worked fine last summer and is weak this year
- A smell when the air comes on
- The fan runs but nothing much comes out
- The heat is lukewarm, or the windshield will not defog
How we do it

Performance check first
Vent temperature, high and low side pressures, and compressor engagement. Ten minutes tells us whether this is a leak, a blend door, or a blower.

Find the leak with dye and a light
UV dye and a sniffer, then photographs of exactly where it is weeping. Condensers, O-rings and hose fittings are the usual suspects.

Fix it, then evacuate and recharge to spec
Charged by weight to the manufacturer's spec, not by feel, and re-tested at the vent before it leaves.
